What is Therap?
Therap Services is an online software service that provides secure, HIPAA compliant, documentation and communication for developmental disability provider agencies.
What do I use Therap for?
Therap is used to complete your Case Notes, and sign the MAR.
How do I use Therap?
Therap with EVV involves you checking in when you arrive and checking out when you leave. When you check out you will be prompted to complete your case notes. It is vital that you do not forget to check in and out as the app will collect your location and that is part of the report we need to submit to the Regional Center. Checking in and out is NOT Clocking in and out. Therap has nothing to do with payroll and does not replace clocking in and out using Quickbooks. Below is a step by step guide on how to use Therap on your shift.
1. When you arrive on shift, check in. This verifies you are where you say you are and when for the regional center report.

After you check in it will prompt you to enter ISP Data (case notes). Leave that as what you do when you check out.

2. When your shift is over, check out. This verifies you were where you say you where and when for the regional center report. It will also prompt you to complete the case note (you cannot check out until you are done.
3. During the shift, you need to complete the MAR whenever you give medication.
Other Data?
In addition to the case notes, all individuals will have a Medical Visit form (also labeled ISP Program by Therap). This needs to be completed after every clinical visit (Dr., Dentist, Psych, etc.)
On a case by case basis there may be additional ISP Programs assigned to individuals to collect data. These may be sleep logs, food logs, behavior logs, etc.. These will be needed to complete based on the criteria given to you when they are implemented or when you are trained to work with that specific individual.
