Home Ownership Made Easy needs to go through a recertification process every year with their tenants. This process is to verify their eligibility and determine their rent. Much of this process may seem redundant as it is information already provided, but is required by HUD. This must be done in a timely manner as it puts the tenants at risk of losing their home if not completed in a timely manner.
Things you will need to provide:
- The most current award letter from Social Security.
- This should be mailed to the individual or their payee (if they have one). It can also be acquired through the Social Security wbsite if they have, or if they set up an account.
- Last six months of bank statements.
- If they work: Last three months of paystubs.
- Completed and signed RECERTIFICTAION PACKET
When complete please contact Erik so that he may print out the packet and get it to you for signature. Erik will get the packet to HOME.
